V1: Grayscale to match logo colour scheme.
V2: Muted colour to provide a homely 🏠 feel.
Exploration with Neon Effect (learnt from the YouTube tutorial), where the name ‘Dailou’ means ‘Boss’ in Cantonese so tried the Hong Kong Street Style when looking for inspiration. Was later told by client to explore a cute looking cream puff as the main look.
Took into consideration printed version as Neon Effect might be lost. Client was happy and made Whatsapp stickers with it! 😂
Exploration with Calligraphy and Negative spaces where majority of the time is spent on sketching to explore how to transform text into an icon.
Client was satisfied and got a free seafood dinner meal for 4 pax! Literally brought food to the table 🤣
