Memoji 101: Keeping a diary ζ—₯記 βœοΈπŸ“βœοΈ

This is a special 101 series that does not follow the usual Memoji format. It aims to educate and share more in detail of life living in Tokyo.

My very first entry

Went to a support department by the school called ζ—₯本θͺžγ‚΅γƒγƒΌ (Nihongo Support) and was advised by one of the supporter to start writing a ζ—₯記 or a diary.

It is definitely more detailed than the ι€±θ¨˜ or weekly journal I post here as I am trying to learn the language.

I try to write at least two a week. It’s pretty tough to write one every day given the homework but it’s a great exercise to help with sentence structure, and vocabulary.

Out-of-school practice

I was having difficulties with forming sentences and tenses and even basic grammar. I had a lot of speaking classes but without learning how to form sentences, it was tough. Hence, this suggestion was great.

It’s my fifth week doing so as of writing and I’ve been getting my friend along with the supporter to help me review and learn more commonly used phrases.
