What is Memoji? Itβs a term I used, combining memo + emoji. I love tweets and everything short, hence, a memo. I also love emojis and using pictures and pictorials to illustrate, hence, emojis.
This is a little informal series within TOKYO BOUND blog posts on my website to just share short spontaneous updates of my journey.

βοΈ The weather was pretty sunny today but I managed to stay home most of the time.
π Iβve been using the time to quickly say goodbye to my friends and it is honestly the first big step I have ever done for myself so I am feeling queasy. But I am feeling a lot more love and support than I thought I would. I met a few school professors and teachers as well. One of them even gave me a coin β Angel of Independence to celebrate my huge step!
I feel very thankful to have many kind people surrounding me.
π€ Feeling many virtual hugs and a lot of warmth from friends who shared their own experiences and let me know it is perfectly okay and normal to run into issues with my accommodations.
One friend said it might be better to view the house myself as she recounts her move to Shanghai, China for one-year.
Another friend shared her relocation adventure when she moved from Romania to Dublin, Ireland. She was stressed and searching for two weeks. She was alone there. At least, I am comforted in knowing that I have a few friends when I go over. I remember one thing she said which was, βHey, itβs an adventure. No adventure is smooth-sailing. Itβs about growth!β and I like that a lot.
