Highlight of my week?
Had my first Christmas Market and Illuminations out of Singapore! Along with attending my first wedding ceremony in Tokyo.
Went to my first jazz bar at Takadanobaba. It was an interesting experience.
What have I learnt this week?
Crowd control conditions are definitely better in Tokyo compared to back home. There are really a lot of events to be done for Christmas, but it’s mostly a couple event compared to a family event.
First wedding I attended in Tokyo. It was beautiful.
What could I have done better?
Met a lot more friends from Singapore who are here on a holiday. So I find myself speaking more English, and do not have as much opportunity to practise Japanese apart from ordering food.
The vibes at Yoyogi Park’s Christmas Market was amazing. I will be back.
What am I grateful for this week?
Always grateful for the people around me, helping me, supporting me and encouraging me on this learning journey.
