This is a regular series within TOKYO BOUND blog to share short weekly updates of my journey.
Highlight of my week?
Had my first round of tests for the electives and survived.
Mexican @ Shibuya. I really need to eat more Japanese food…
What have I learnt this week?
For the week, I realised I was just doing the work, but I really wasn’t learning it. So thankfully, there was a holiday on Thursday and the weekends, then I used the time to revise.
What’s Tokyo life without Game Centres?
What could I have done better?
Not to underestimate the power of rest. I’ve been having a tired mind just doing the work, because the volume is intense. If I’m asked to summarise what I learnt in the week, I doubt I can do it.
This NIHONGO Waseda Support has been an immense support for me.
What am I grateful for this week?
Work aside, thankful for the friends I’ve made through class. Found time and slowly a routine of balancing homework, friends, and fun. Not quite there yet, but definitely better than before.
